Taxi services to the Besletsky Bridge
The 29-meter arched stone Besletsky Bridge is located 6 km north of Sukhumi, the capital of Abkhazia, on Chanba Street. According to one legend, it was built in the shortest possible time during an attack on the republic by an enemy tribe to cross the Basla River. Another legend has it that after its construction, Queen Tamara crossed the bridge, which is why it bears her name. This impressive architectural monument is in good condition but is not used for transportation purposes.
